Mutations
What are Mutations?
On Sundered Weyr Mutations are anything that causes the Bonded creatures in question to differ from the norm of its species or rank. Some, such as Coloration and Physical Mutations, may be acquired in Bondings or from the Shrine randomly, and also can be applied to an existing creature using items purchased in the Shop. These types of mutations appear across all species unless noted otherwise and never cover up anything that might identify a specific rank (such a a Sharpblade's eye mask color).
But there are other mutations that completely warp a creature's physical appearance in such a way that they have their own categories - a Grand Mutation. These Mutations can be applied mostly through acquiring Event Items or through special creatures given during these Events. They may apply to only one Species, or multiple species, as listed with their type. A Shop item may be added at a later point to allow otherwise purchase of these Grand Mutations.

The Grand Mutations
Mutation
Cuddlebug: creature recharges itself by physical contact
Ethereal: wispy or incorporeal appearance
Holiday: creature has marks/traits linked to a specific holiday (Christmas, Halloween, etc)
Clockwork: Creature has a mechanical or robotic appearance
Eclipse (Solar): a blue to black hue/staining to normal coloration. 6-12 hours a day they glow with a brilliant light that makes their otherwise color difficult to tell and fuzzes over their features, though they are able to be looked at without harm to the observer. At a point during this time for one hour the glow will dim save for a single bright place like the Diamond Ring effect which will be on the chest or forehead.
Eclipse (Lunar):
